Cafe Review - Montreal, Quebec
Chez Mère Grand
A Montréal must-visit, just a short stroll from the charming Old Montréal. Enter a tastefully decorated cafe filled with character, where the lively owner hums and sings with delight.
The moment you step inside, you're welcomed with a cozy, homey atmosphere. Abundant windows let in fresh air, and the space is impeccably clean. There's a delightful hustle and bustle, from freshly baked croissants to the enticing aroma of grilled cheese and the creation of piping hot espressos.
Every corner is a special place
Seating is ample, each table and chair offering a unique welcome, whether you're there to work or engage in a friendly chat with your loved one or friend. The owner is a passionate advocate for his coffee and baked goods, always up for a delightful conversation.
This place is a photographer's dream, with every nook and corner thoughtfully adorned with enchanting details. And don't miss the petite and charming outdoor area with a few tables, perfect for enjoying the fresh air and enhancing your experience.
We tried the flat white, grilled cheese (oozing with cheese) and the flakey chocolate danish - all incredibly delish and wonderfully fresh. It was tempting to stay a little longer and try everything on the menu.
